This session will present practical recommendations for integrating Minimally Invasive Orthognathic Surgery (MIOS) into an existing orthognathic surgery practice. MIOS is transforming the traditional approach to corrective jaw surgery by reducing surgical invasiveness, enhancing patient comfort and facilitating faster recovery while maintaining predictable clinical outcomes. Successful adoption of MIOS requires the entire surgical team to embrace a shift in mindset, workflows, surgical techniques, treatment planning, patient preparation and the use of new technologies and instrumentation. By the end of this presentation, participants will gain a clearer understanding of the steps involved in implementing MIOS, the opportunities and challenges associated with the transition and the ways in which industry partners can support the surgical team throughout this evolution in patient care.
