In this one-hour, fast-paced session, authors will present on their recent articles. Additional oral abstract speakers will discuss research, and 10 minutes are reserved for audience questions.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Compare outcomes of immediate versus delayed implant placement in fibula free flap jaw reconstruction based on current systematic review and meta-analysis evidence.
  2. Identify the limitations of virtual surgical planning in osteoradionecrosis cases and describe how advanced imaging informs clear margin determination.
  3. Evaluate evidence-based prosthodontic rehabilitation strategies following fibula free flap reconstruction of the jaws.
  4. Describe a fully digital workflow for same-day jaw reconstruction utilizing patient-specific scan bodies and outsourced fabrication of a direct-to-multiunit prosthesis.
  5. Discuss emerging tissue engineering applications for mandibular condyle reconstruction and functional muscle reattachment.
