This comprehensive session bridges trauma, reconstructive surgery and facial esthetics in modern maxillofacial practice. Speakers will present advanced approaches that blend innovation with artistry in post-traumatic facial reconstruction for both adult and pediatric populations. Topics include post-traumatic scar management and minimally invasive strategies for facial fractures, particularly endoscopic approaches to the frontal region. Other discussions will focus on correction of post-traumatic facial deformities through precise osteotomies and contour restoration. The session culminates with emerging applications of patient-specific custom facial implants, showcasing digital planning and 3D printing for personalized reconstruction.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Integrate minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques in the management of facial fractures - particularly frontal and midfacial trauma - to optimize both functional and esthetic outcomes.
  2. Evaluate and apply evidence-based strategies for post-traumatic scar management and correction of facial deformities in adult and pediatric patients using osteotomies and soft-tissue remodeling principles.
  3. Incorporate digital planning and the use of patient-specific custom facial implants to enhance precision, symmetry and long-term results in post-traumatic facial reconstruction.
