Maria N. Henry, MD
Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Dr. Maria Henry is a pediatric anesthesiologist and faculty member in the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University of Washington. She completed her anesthesiology residency at the University of Washington in Seattle in 2022, where she developed a strong interest in pediatric anesthesia. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland in 2023.
Following fellowship, Dr. Henry returned to Seattle and currently practices at Harborview Medical Center and Seattle Children’s Hospital. Her clinical interests include pediatric trauma and burn anesthesia, perioperative patient safety, and improving comfort and equity in pediatric care.
Dr. Henry is deeply involved in medical education and serves as Co-Director of Clinical Medical Student Education in Anesthesiology at the University of Washington. She has contributed to academic scholarship in pediatric anesthesiology through publications and educational initiatives focused on patient safety and pediatric perioperative care.
Outside of clinical practice, Dr. Henry enjoys international travel, spending time with her family and their dog, Bella, and relaxing with a good book.
