David Fenton, DDS, MD, FACS of Bristol Oral Surgery and Implant Center received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan, Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. and Doctorate of Medicine and Certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of Connecticut. He is Associate Clinical Professor at the University of Connecticut teaching dental students and OMS residents.Additionally, he maintains active roles in organized healthcare, political advocacy and continuing education, as a consultant on the AAOMS Committee on Practice Management and Professional Staff Development, Vice President and Program Director of the Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Connecticut State Dental Association Political Action Team Leader and Chair of the Committee on Government Affairs, Board member of the Dental Lifeline Network, member of the Connecticut Dental Antibiotic Stewardship Committee, AAOMS representative to the Association for Dental Safety, and as the Connecticut State OMSPAC Chairman.
