Cathy Hung, DDS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon in private practice in New Jersey. Dr. Hung received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a DDS from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She received her training certification in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx, New York. Dr. Hung is the author of three books: Pulling Wisdom, Behind Her Scalpel, and, most recently, Guided Wellness Regeneration, all of which are dedicated to dental professionals. Dr. Hung was recently selected as an ADA Oral Health 2050 Initiative Wellness Panelist. She is an ADA Wellness Ambassador and chairs the New Jersey Dental Association’s Well-being Committee. She is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and the current NJ Section Chair for the American College of Dentists, and the recipient of Benco Dental’s Lucy Hobb’s Project Humanitarian Award in 2023 and the NJDA Presidential Award in 2024. She represents New Jersey as a delegate at the American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists.
