M. Todd Brandt, DDS, MD, FACS

M. Todd Brandt, MD, DDS, FACS, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 20 years of private practice experience. After graduating from the College of William and Mary and the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Kentucky. He further specialized through advanced training in general surgery and plastic microsurgical nerve repair. A prominent leader in professional governance, Dr. Brandt is a Delegate to the AAOMS, past President of the Virginia Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, past Preseident of the Shenandoah Valley Dental Association and a former national Board Examiner for ABOMS. He is also a widely published author with over 22 peer-reviewed articles and textbook chapters, and a veteran who served as a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Heavily invested in his local community, Dr. Brandt has coached youth sports for two decades and serves on multiple civic and philanthropic boards in the Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia. He is an avid surfer, snow skier, and competitive triathlete who enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons.
