John Nathan, MD, DDS

John Nathan M.D., D.D.S., M.Sc. is a Senior Associate Consultant within the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic and the Associate Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Columbia University. He then completed medical school and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He received his Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare from the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He completed fellowships in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction and Sleep Surgery at the University of Michigan. His research interests include integrating AI/ML into oral and maxillofacial surgery to improve patient outcomes and improve surgical practice efficiency.
