Dr. Vincent J. Perciaccante is a board-certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a group practice in three locations in Georgia. After graduating from New York University College of Dentistry, he received his OMS training at Emory University. After completing his training, he joined the full-time faculty at Emory University School of Medicine and served as the Residency Program Director and Chief of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital. He continues as part-time faculty member at Emory as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Surgery. He teaches and supervises the residents at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. After serving six years as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS), he was elected to an eight-year term as a member of the ABOMS Board of Directors and served as President. He also served as President of the Georgia Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery section of the International Association of Dental Research. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS) and has served as the Chairman of the Committee on Residency Education and Training, of which he is still a member. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Perciaccante is a consultant to the Georgia Board of Dentistry on Anesthesia. He was elected as a Director of OMS National Insurance Company (OMSNIC) on September 21, 2023. He also serves as a Director for OMSNIC's subsidiary companies: Fortress Insurance Company, The River Agency, and Dental Professional Specialty Risk.
