Chao Dong, DDS, MS (he/him/his)

Chao Dong, DDS, MS, is an intern and researcher with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Program at the University of Washington. Dr. Dong earned his Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Dental Hygiene from the University of Southern California. He subsequently completed graduate training at the University of California, San Francisco, where he received a Master of Science in Dental Hygiene Science with a focus on curriculum development, educational methodology, and teaching.

His academic and clinical interests include oral and maxillofacial surgery, surgical education, and translational research. Dr. Dong aspires to pursue advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and establish a career as an academic surgeon, combining clinical practice, research, and education within a research-intensive university environment.
