Keshav Kumar DDS MD is a 4th year OMFS resident at the University of Southern California/Los Angeles General Medical Center. He completed his DDS from the University of California-San Francisco and his BS in Molecular Biology with Honors at the University of California-Berkeley. Keshav has published in the Journal of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the Journal of the American College of Surgeons. He has received recognition via the National Science Foundation's REU award and at the U.S. Department of Energy's Joint Genome Institute. Keshav's recent academic lectures include presentations to UCSF predoctoral students on "3D Printing in OMFS Reconstruction" and "Gender-affirming Facial Surgery from the OMFS Perspective". He plans to pursue fellowship training after residency, with an interest in sleep-related skeletal surgery and craniofacial surgery.
