Dr. Shaghayegh Dowdani, DDS, Research Fellow in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Mayo Clinic, is an internationally trained general dentist with several years of clinical experience and a strong interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery research. His work at Mayo Clinic focuses on clinical outcomes and innovations in maxillofacial reconstruction, with particular interests in alveolar bone grafting in cleft patients and evidence-based surgical care.

Dr. Dowdani has contributed to multiple research projects in oral and maxillofacial surgery and is committed to advancing the field through scientific inquiry and interdisciplinary collaboration.
