Adil Siddique, B.S., is a DMD candidate at the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and a student researcher in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. His academic interests include odontogenic infection, facial trauma, health systems research, and surgical outcomes.
At Penn, his clinical research examines how odontogenic infections have changed in presentation and management following regional health system disruption, with attention to infection complexity, deep neck space involvement, airway intervention, and hospital-based surgical outcomes. His work centers on using clinical data to answer practical questions, characterize shifts in disease burden, and improve care for patients with complex oral and maxillofacial conditions.
Adil hopes to pursue a career in academic oral and maxillofacial surgery that integrates surgical training, clinical research, and mentorship.
