David S. Brooks, II, DDS

Dr. David Brooks, DDS, is a third-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He graduated with honors from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he developed a strong interest in clinical research. His current research focuses on pain management strategies for oral and maxillofacial surgery patients, with a particular emphasis on outpatient sedation procedures. Dr. Brooks plans to pursue a hybrid career combining private practice and academic oral and maxillofacial surgery. Outside of his surgical training, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, skiing, playing pickleball, and hiking.
