Dr. Henry Kendrick, DMD, is an oral and maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) resident at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospitals in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then went on to complete a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of dentistry. During dental school, he developed an interest in research where he explored topics related tp enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) protocols following head and neck surgery, survival outcomes-based research for head and neck cancer patients, soft and hard tissue regeneration/wound healing. Upon completing his dental training, he was then matched at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) for oral and maxillofacial surgery residency where he is currently in his third year of training.
