Dr. Govind is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who performs full-scope surgery at UCSF-Alameda Health System, where he has been Residency Program Director since 2020. His training included dental school at Harvard School of Dental Medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at University of California San Francisco and fellowship in Portland, Oregon. His clinical and research interests include maxillofacial trauma, airway management for oral and maxillofacial surgery, emergency simulation, and surgical education. In his free time, he enjoys writing and recording music, cooking, and coaching soccer.
