Dr. Stanley Liu is an Associate Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and Director of the NSU Breathe & Sleep Wellness Center. He is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and fellowship-trained otolayrngology - sleep surgeon. Dr. Liu previously served on faculty at Stanford University, where he directed the Stanford Sleep Surgery Fellowship and updated the internationally recognized Stanford Sleep Surgery Approach. He has authored over 110 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, including seminal studies on drug-induced sleep endoscopy (DISE), airway physiology, and surgical outcomes in obstructive sleep apnea. An invited lecturer worldwide, Dr. Liu has delivered keynote addresses at major sleep medicine meetings including APSS 2019 and World Sleep 2023. His career is dedicated to advancing multidisciplinary, evidence-based approaches to sleep breathing health.
