Dr. Aditya Tadinada is the Associate Dean for Graduate Research, Education and Training, Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology residency program and is also the Director of student research at the UCONN School of Dental Medicine. Dr.Tadinada serves as the Editor in Chief of the Connecticut State Dental Association (CSDA) and serves on the Board of Governors of CSDA.
Dr.Tadinada has multiple invited presentations, over 100 publications along with multiple abstracts and book chapters to his credit. He is a Primary Investigator (PI) or a Co- PI on numerous NIH funded research projects at the UCONN Health Center and has collaborative projects with other universities. Dr.Tadinada’s research in UCONN focuses on establishing oral radiomorphometric indices for early diagnosis of osteoporosis. His special interest is in the field of Artificial Intelligence in radiological diagnosis and 3D imaging involving dental implants using cone beam CT. He works closely with many multi-disciplinary teams and is primarily interested in advancing the awareness about Oral Health and its link to overall health.
Dr.Tadinada is an internationally recognized speaker, an excellent mentor and a phenomenal scientist known for his ground breaking work in oral diagnostics and is a leader in the field of 3-D imaging.
