The Anesthesia Update program is designed to provide up-to-date information on current topics related to medicine and anesthesia. The information presented will be relevant to the day-to-day practice of office-based anesthesia. In addition, the program will include a series of short case-based scenarios to allow for audience participation.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Discuss how to manage perioperative diabetic medications, including SGLT-2 antagonists and GLP-1 agonists.
  2. Distinguish the differences between cardiac arrest in the operating room and cardiac arrest outside of the hospital.
  3. Describe the best practices in the anesthetic management of neurodivergent children.
  4. Participate in case presentations related to anesthesia complications.
