Most benign maxillofacial lesions in children do not present clinical concerns. However, some exhibit aggressive features or behaviors that may mimic or suggest malignancy. These lesions, though not malignant by histology, present substantial diagnostic and therapeutic challenges.

Learning Objectives:

At the conclusion of this presentation, participants should be able to:
  1. Provide an overview of diagnosis for pediatric maxillofacial lesions with aggressive behavior.
  2. Discuss surgical and non-surgical management strategies for these patients.
  3. Present recent advances and research for the treatment of these lesions.
