Computerized records, specialist software, digital imaging and planning are becoming prevalent in oral and maxillofacial surgery – and now necessary tools for group practices. Artificial intelligence software can diagnosis pathology, plan surgery and manage practice operations including patient scheduling, billing, staff management, labor issues, marketing and payroll. While those tools have significant benefits, they also present potential liability risks for the unaware OMS. This program will analyze AI in the digital OMS practice using with case examples and offer practical tips for risk management and liability avoidance.
