Dr. Peter Theodosios Arvanitis is an Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and completed his residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems. He practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with particular interest in benign pathology, TMJ surgery, and orthognathic surgery and is dedicated to teaching residents. He has had the privilege of lecturing in multiple countries including Greece, Kenya, and Slovenia. In his spare time he enjoys hiking around Virginia, roasting lamb in his backyard, and spending time with his wife and son.
