Paul L. Shivers DMD, MD is a faculty member of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery/Hospital Dentistry within the Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan Hospitals. Dr. Shivers received his bachelor degree from Ohio State University and dental degree from Case Western Reserve University. He subsequently received his medical degree and completed residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Case Western Reserve University. Following residency, he completed fellowship training in oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Michigan. He is now a clinical assistant professor at the University of Michigan, as well as the fellowship director for the oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery program and assistant residency program director.
