Dr. Faisal A. Quereshy, MD, DDS, MBA, FACS, is Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Case Western Reserve University and Medical Director of Visage Surgical Institute: Oral-Facial & Cosmetic Surgery in Medina, Ohio. A native of Toronto, Canada, he is dual board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS), and board-certified by the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS). His career integrates academic leadership, clinical excellence, and national organizational service within oral and facial surgery.
Dr. Quereshy earned his DDS from the State University of New York (SUNY) School of Dental Medicine in 1994. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Case Western Reserve University through an integrated medical curriculum, earning his MD in 1997 and completing a one-year general surgery internship. He then completed an accredited fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) and CODA in 2000. In 2024, he earned an MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, further strengthening his expertise in healthcare leadership and strategy.
A tenured full professor, Dr. Quereshy served as Residency Program Director in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 2002 to 2025 at the Case School of Dental Medicine and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. He has trained numerous residents while maintaining a full-scope OMS practice that includes dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, and advanced facial cosmetic procedures.
In private practice, he co-founded Visage Surgical Institute and V-Spa with his wife, Dr. Najia Usman, an endodontist. Their community-based model integrates oral surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, and restorative care, providing comprehensive, patient-centered treatment in Medina, Ohio.
Dr. Quereshy has held significant leadership roles nationally and locally. He served as President of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (2024–2025), President of the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (2022–2023), and President of the Ohio Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (2022–2023). He has also served as an Examiner and Section Chair for ABOMS, Secretary of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, Trustee of the AACS, and member of the Ohio State Dental Board (2018–2024).
Within AAOMS, he serves as Caucus Secretary for District IV, Chair of the Committee on Education and Training, Chair of the Section on Facial Cosmetic Surgery and its Clinical Interest Group, and member of the Committee on Continuing Education and Professional Development, and the editorial board of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
An internationally recognized lecturer and author, Dr. Quereshy has delivered numerous continuing education programs and published scientific papers and textbook chapters advancing facial cosmetic and orthognathic surgery. He and his wife are proud parents of four children and enjoy golf and Cleveland professional sports.
