Dr. Thomas Dodson is Professor and Worthington Chair of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington School of Dentistry and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. A diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, he earned his DMD and MPH degrees from Harvard and completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery training, dental public health residency, and NIH fellowship in clinical epidemiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He is committed to expanding meaningful engagement between all AAOMS members and JOMS.
