Dr. Arshad Kaleem is a Maxillofacial, Head and Neck Oncologic, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgeon based in El Paso, Texas. He serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and as Assistant Professor at the Texas Tech University, School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaleem is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He also serves as Co-Program Director of the Fellowship in Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction.
Dr. Kaleem received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania and his MD from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed a general surgery internship and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at LSU-New Orleans, followed by advanced fellowship training in Head and Neck Oncology in Portland, Oregon, and Miami, Florida.
His clinical interests include the comprehensive treatment of head and neck cancer, complex reconstructive surgery, facial reconstruction, maxillofacial trauma, surgical management of obstructive sleep apnea, and dental and oral rehabilitation for cancer and trauma patients.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kaleem is dedicated to global health. He regularly participates in international surgical mission trips, providing advanced surgical care to underserved populations and training local surgeons in complex oncologic, microvascular, and microneural surgical techniques.
