Waleed Zaid, DDS, MSc, FACS (he/him/his)

Dr. Waleed Zaid is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction. He earned his DDS from Ajman University and completed his residency and MSc at McGill University, focusing his research on oral cancer. Dr. Zaid further trained at Boston University and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a professor at Louisiana State University, chief of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, and has published extensively in his field. Dr. Zaid is also active in research, teaching, and professional organizations.
